Part 4 of the series examines more session work, outtakes, and final remixes to stereo. They will be made available to download shortly. The second half of the podcast covers the overdubs for Buddy’s final recordings in his New York apartment. A lot of time has been put into de-mixing, de-noising, equalizing and, finally remixing those sessions (available for download below), replacing vocal tracks and balancing the additional session musicians and vocalists to blend a lot better with Buddy’s vocal and guitar work from the original tapes. Also included are my 2nd stereo remixes of “Crying Waiting Hoping” and “Peggy Sue Got Married”.
Next week was to be Part 5 of the series. However, I will not have enough time to complete this episode (and 2 more afterwards) until we’re settled in our new place. So, As of today, I will be on hiatus until sometime in late September/early October.
